Meditation Pillow by Tamara Sharkey

As you know, many plans are in the making and most taking part in this upcoming week! My promise to sew a meditation pillow per the direction on an archived blog post I wrote in May (view here for directions on how to make the DIY meditation pillow!), I am sorry to say I have not fulfilled as I should have! However, a reader has used the post to sew her own and I would love to share how easily she succeeded in making a beautiful meditation pillow. It's wonderful to see others being crafty bees.

It's simply beautiful... love the fabric choice.

Check out her blog here... Tamara Sharkey Photography. Definitely worth the visit! If you should try this out for yourselves, please let me know and I will feature your pillow as well! I can't wait until the move to Washington, D.C. is settled and I can unpack the sewing machine and get to "ohm-ing". Namaste.

Red Pepper & Arugula Wraps

Ingredients:
- whole wheat tortilla wraps
- red pepper
- arugula
- feta
- salsa verde
- pepper, to taste

Slice the red peppers long ways, laying 4-5 down the half of the open, flat-faced tortilla. Add a small bed of arugula and cover in feta and salsa verde on the same half. Sprinkle a little pepper and then wrap tortilla! To wrap successfully... don't over-stuff with toppings and try tucking the end of the tortilla into itself. Start with the sides, then the end closest you holding the ingredients... roll, tuck and finish on the half without ingredients. Might be vague, but it works like a charm.

The Epps +1

It was such a pleasure documenting a snippet of The Epps' happiness. "Sassy", as the baby is currently nicknamed, will be joining us this September and from the love shared by her parents, I'd say she is quite a lucky little girl. To see all the pictures from the "The Epps +1" sitting, visit the Humblebee Facebook page.

Congratulations Steven and Rae!
