Watercolor Lettering by Sasha Prood

So there has been a bit of spamming on my blog recently. As you can see I haven't been posting to try a few tests out! I'm not sure what the outcome will be, however I thought you all would like a post anyhow.

The following is some absolutely amazing art created by Sasha Prood. And yes, I contacted her immediately to express my awe. Check out her website to enjoy her entire collection of watercolor and pen art. I hope you all are just as inspired as I was! Next post will be the long awaited cooking class photos and recipes from my Lake Como, Italy visit: Homemade Gnocchi & Pesto, with Tiramisu as dessert!

Latest Thrifty Purchase

On my quick trip to Miss Pixie's yesterday, I thought I was in search of some unique baskets for the arrangement of our pantry food... but what I found was more spectacular. Five small bowls, handcrafted and so delicate to the touch, they couldn't be anyone else's but mine. And the fact that we eat/cook so much asian cuisine now, these seemed silly not to get (soy sauce with sushi for example!). They look wonderful on our open kitchen shelves and match my handmade, wheel-thrown bowls in color. I walked out with $15 out of the pocket and a huge smile on my face.

Hope everyone had a fantastic leap day yesterday! And for all those who only have a birthday every 4 years, I hope you partied like rockstars.

Wilder leaping for leap day.
