Thrifty Treasure : Page's Thieves Market

Thrifty store of the month is Page's Thieves Market. Located on Ben Sawyer, this family-owned, barn-style store gives off a warm, nostalgic feeling with its antiques and fun knick-knacks. Even if you're just driving through, this store is a must-visit. If you live nearby (or even far), it is worth it to visit weekly; either weekdays to see the new treasures or on Saturdays at their weekly auctions! 

Do your part for the environment and inspire local business... buy second-hand.

Perfect size vase for your home. Don't like rusty orange? Easy fix with paint!

Very cool find. This piece of wood is a handmade print block to what seems to look like a paisley print... great bookshelf  knick-knack or for re-use on your own personalized stationery.

I absolutely adore white ceramic anything with a blue and yellow Asian-inspired print. Use these for their original purpose (tea light holders) or use on your desk to store paper clips.

If you are lucky, you own a record player and can listen to the great sounds of the classic, now vintage records. If not, these album covers are magnificent for making a collage of vintage-looking framed images. How to: Buy an even number of albums that are similar in color range, buy square frames to frame each, then hang 5 rows by 5 columns. Very cool wall art.

From out of town? Page's has hung a wall map where visitors have pinpointed there hometown. You can see Page's is quite a popular visit-spot if you're living in the southeast!

If this beauty had not already been purchased, you would definitely see it in my bedroom. For $150, you just can't beat this fantastic thrifty find.

These colored glass spheres make for interesting decoration pieces for inside or outside spaces.

The perfect chair for a cushion project. The frame itself is in great condition and has a unique style. Grab some cushion stuffing and printed fabric, makes for a great accent chair.

The print of the fabric and condition of the wood frame are perfect. A little elbow grease and this is an easy piece to get up and running in your home. Create a small back pillow with a complimenting pattern and you have a chair that looks brand new!

I'm a sucker for old trunks. If you ask me, this can be used anywhere.

Age is a beautiful thing.

Great for space-filling wall art. You could paint this as well, but I recommend leaving as-is when it comes to something as crafted as this!

Perfect for planting back-porch plants. Place plants needing less sunlight underneath in brown terracotta pots, plus they'll catch any excess water.
